Groupon! While our hometown is not included yet. I recently looked up Buffalo, NY as we are soon making a trip there. Check it out. They offer one deal/day on fun things to do in that city. Most major city's are listed. I just checked this site out so I have not used it yet, however looking at previous deals I wish I did! They had a Buffalo Harbor sightseeing 2 hour boat ride for $7/pp, wish I would have thought the check a few days ago!
